Safe Astoria option exercised
(14 Jan 2010) Shell Philippines Exploration B.V. has exercised the 30-day option with commencement early May 2010 for the continued use of the Safe Astoria accommodation support rig at the Malampaya Shallow Water Platform offshore Palawan, Philippines.

Operational update for Q4 2009
(08 Jan 2010) Rig utilisation in the fourth quarter of 2009 was 84 per cent. The rig utilisation for the year 2009 was 86 per cent. Safe Scandinavia completed its operation in the UK North Sea at the start of October.
Prosafe owns and operates 12 accommodation rigs (flotels).
